POLICIES & PROCEDURES
Please read the following policy and sign below
Pre-Production
1. Idea and theme; the client provides a rough idea about what the project is. Our company gives consultations and develops this idea in a non detailed format.
2. The budget of a project is based on the idea and, script, type of project, equipment, crew, and talents participating in the project, or by per finished minute.
3. Payment: 50% deposit upon approval of budget and signing of Production Agreement, with balance on completion. Deposit is non-refundable.
4. Brain storming & developing the ideas: when the client agrees on the basic idea our company will offer more detailed ideas and concept for a fee.
5. Script: a writer will be assigned to write a script.
6. Location scouting: the director will assign the shooting locations.
7. Story board: a story board will be made for the project.
8. Assigning and hiring the crew will be done by our company, in some cases the client might assign the crew.
9. The client has to provide a person that is easy to contact and easy to access by our crew members such as the Producer and director. This person has to make quick decisions and respond in a timely manner. Any delays by this contact person that delays the process of the production will result in panelizing the client.
10. The programs we produce shall not contain any material that is obscene, libelous, slanderous, or knowingly violates any laws.
Production
1. Camera Rental: One day Camera rental is up to straight 6 Hours. Each additional hour will cost an additional fee determined by the agreement. The camera man fees are included.
2. It is the client’s responsibility to provide an advisor during the shooting to make the production smooth.
3. The location of video recording might affect the cost.
4. Audio equipment Rental: in house microphones are used for audio production.
5. Crew: hiring a crew for one day means that they can work up to 6 hours.
6. Equipments budget is set during the pre-production stage, before signing the contract and giving the total budget and any extra equipment to be used an extra fee will be charged to the client.
7. Video coverage: when shooting an event, each Camera comes with one microphone (Nic/Lav mic, Handheld, on Camera Mic, or gun Mic) some could be wireless if desired, 2 Basic key lights are included, basic tripod, blank tapes for the duration of shooting, XLR audio cable, camera man who shall work with a director (person in charge) on location of shooting.
8. Music and other audio track: Client has to provide music of desire with written authorization from the production company holding the copy rights for that audio track. Our company will not be held responsible of any legal actions. Or we can provide 1-2 cuts of royalty free music from our Package.
9. Graphics & Footage: when there are graphics or footage involved in a project, the client shall provide ownership of this graphic/footage or provide a signed document that authorizes the client to use this graphics.
10. All additional fees for equipment to be used in a production that are not in the production agreement shall be covered by the client.
Post-Production
1. When an editor works on editing, our editor should have a script/story board to work with. In addition, our editor must have easy and quick access and contact to a director that is handling this project to make decisions. If needed, the director should attend editing sessions. If the client does not have a director, one should be assigned for the editor or make the editor take the role of the director and be authorized by the client to make editing decisions.
2. Editing is charged either by the package or by the hour. When charged by the hours a maximum hour’s limit is given to the director to work with (in case of having a director in the project. If this limit is exceeded the company has the right to charge the client for each additional hour.
3. In case of using animation in a project, the animation level should be determined by the director before starting on the animation process, and upon that the rate should be set. Any extra work added after the animation is scripted and laid on a story board there will be extra charges paid to the client.
4. Our production company has the right to roll credits on projects including the crew names and our company’s logo.
5. Any defects in the final product (VHS, DVD, and Beta) will be handled by our company at no further cost during the first week of the after delivery.
6. Our company has the rights to use graphics not owned by the client that are used in the final product unless stated in the agreement, and these graphics include 3d/2d animation.
