PRODUCTION ITINERARY
This is the process we go through with our clients in order to complete a smooth production
I. Pre-Production II. Production III. Post Production (Editing)
Alomani.TV crew will meet with the client to establish objectives for the project(s). Alomani.TV will then submit a Production Agreement for approval. The Production Agreement will specify what our Production Company will provide and do during all phases of the production, as well as what the client will provide and do. The production agreement also specifies the Agreed upon compensation and terms of payment.
Upon signature of a Production Agreement, and receipt of deposit, Alomani.TV will perform the following as required.
A. Writer
1. Research: The writer will meet with the Executive Producer from our Production Company, Director, and (The client) and become familiar with what the client want in their video.
2. Subject treatment: The writer will write a scenario in descriptive prose outlining what the script will do. A treatment usually takes one or two typewritten pages. The treatment will be submitted to the client for approval.
3. Draft script: Once the treatment is approved, a script is written that follows the direction of the treatment. Scripts are written in split format: the narrative on the right and the corresponding visuals described on the left. The narrative part of the script will contain the actual words that the narrator delivers.
4. Script conference and approval: The client, the producer and the writer will meet and discuss the script. Any change in the script is discussed at this meeting. The writer will now incorporate those changes in the final draft of the script.
5. Final draft shooting script: This is the final script. It will be submitted to the client for approval. This meeting is designed to ensure that the script was completed according to the agreements of the script conference (see “4.” above). If additional changes are asked for (and were not discussed at the script conference described above) charges will be assessed for the writer’s extra work.
B. Shooting outline/location scouting: Utilizing the script, the director will develop a shooting outline that describes the actual scenes that will be shot. The director and client will discuss locations for videotaping as the outline is developed.
This will be incorporated into a schedule that chronicles the project through production and post Production and delivery of the completed videotape.

B. Graphics: Special title designs, logos, graphics/animation
C. Talent selection: A narrator will be selected by the director and an audio tape or video cassette or an audio CD of the narrator’s work will be submitted to the client for approval.
D. Location shooting: The actual video production will be done following the outline and shooting schedule.
E. Screening: our Production Company will screen the camera Betacam, DV, or Mini DV master footage while dubbing (copying) each to VHS / DVD-R cassettes for off-line editing.
III. Post Production (Editing)
A. Off-line (rough cut) editing for content verification. The off-line edit is done in DVD-R without special effects, cuts only, to design the final edit and determine the edit point time codes. The edited off-line master tape is used to let the client see what the final program will look like.
B. Music selection: The music for the video will be selected from commercial packages (or provided by the client and incorporated in the off-line master.
C. Off-line screening: Preliminary screening of the off-line master with client for content approval. If necessary, changes to the off-line master will be made for viewing by the client.
D. Record narration: The selected narrator will record the narration on audio CD, or Dat tape in case of only audio is used, or on Betacam, DV, or mini DV in case of appearing on video.
E. Final edit: (on-line) Video editing with effects and titles: The final edit will involve Betacam SP, DV, mini DV or DVD recorded camera masters edited to the agreed upon master format.
F. Product Delivery: Edited Masters on master format (Betacam SP, DV, mini DV or DVD)
G. Duplication: Specified duplicate copies made for distribution on VHS, DVD, Multimedia CD or other formats*
TERMS: Normal terms are 50% deposit upon approval of budget and signing of Production Agreement, with balance on completion.
Duplicate VHS, DVD, Multimedia CD for distribution are priced separately from the production bid.
